My darling,

I wrote Feb 4 instead of 5th on last night’s V-Mail, by mistake - sorry!
No mail yet! I get the blues so bad when I don’t hear from you. There’s still
another delivery this afternoon so maybe I’ll get a few letters then. How are
you, honey? That ole stomach still giving you trouble? Just tell them that
all it needs for a cure is some of your Mommie’s cookin’, and tell them to send
you home pronto! I finished my red blouse today and it fits pretty nice, if I
do say so. Muriel’s brother-in-law (from Rkfd) called me today on the phone.
He’s here in the loop competing in the Pocket Billiard Tournament.
Mrs. Page asked Ronnie and me to have dinner with them upstairs tonight, which
is nice, as I do get lonesome eating by myself every day. Of course Ronnie
keeps up a steady chatter, but although he tries he can’t completely take the
place of an adult. I keep hoping you’re on your way home, but guess I’m
letting myself in for a big letdown.
Ronnie is sleeping right now and has been busy with his trains all morning.
Last night he asked Mr. Page, "where’s daddy?"
Good luck and all our love,
Mom and Ronnie
