Hello Daddy,
How is everything by now? Do you feel any better? Stomach dermatitis I mean?
I rec’d a card dated last Sunday saying you were calling me. What happened?
Couldn’t you get thru? Did you go to see Mrs. Dawson, and did you make any
reservations?
I’ve mailed four pkgs to you today, so I hope you get at least some of them for
Easter. Two of them I have written "this side up" on them, so be careful when
you open them and don’t throw them around. These two are boxes, the other two
are just paper wrapped and you don’t have to be careful with them.
You say you wish the picture on the postcard could do you some good.

Did you mean the "fountain of youth" or the girl standing by it. (Be more
explicit next time - please.)
Yesterday I had a permanent and did some shopping for you and was also busy
wrapping etc. in the evening, so didn’t get a chance to write. Sorry,
honey, but I’m sure when you get the packages, you’ll realize I put in a day’s
work for you, anyway, so you will forgive me, I’m sure. In fact, I was still
busy at 2:00 a.m. and up again at 6:30 this morning.
Ronnie had a haircut today, and didn’t cry at all. His lower lip quivered a
little, but the barber was so nice to him he got over it and was so good. I
went to the same place as I did last time (on 119th) and he sure is nice to
children. He’s so patient and keeps talking to ’em etc.
I hope the things I’m sending you are O.K. If not return them, Will you? I
can exchange them.

We just finished dinner. Had Swiss steak, browned potatoes and carrots and
cake and ice-cream and coffee. Sounds good? It was no fooling. Sure wish
you were here to have some.
I’m going home Thursday and coming back Sunday night with Oralee, so don’t try
to call me.
Gladys sent me a card saying Dick passed his physical and is in the army. She
also asked me to ride out with Murray and Marge Easter Sunday, but Marge had
told me last Sunday that they wouldn’t be going out, so I went ahead and wrote
to Chuck and my Aunt that I’d be in Thursday. I wrote Gladys and told her I’d
come out on the South Shore the following Sunday if she wished.
Well Eleanor is mailing this, so guess I’ll have to stop.
Bye Darling and I’ll be seeing you soon. Always love,
Ronnie and Mommy
