Dearest Alice and Ronnie,

No news today and no mail so I thought I’d just tell you "hello" and send you
one of our Stars and Stripes to read.  Once or twice a week we have a four-page
issue like this one.  The S and S is read by all GIs here enthusiastically but
it’s still not like the old hometown newspaper.

Saw a pretty good show yesterday.  The Barn Dance.  Just like WLS Barn Dance in
Chicago.

Hope I get some mail tomorrow.  Until then all my love to both of you.
