Hello Again:
Jim Jacobs, one of my latest pals is sitting next to me writing his wife, too. I have already written <? five> pages while he has been laboring over one. Every time I turn over a new sheet, he <? tears> his hair. How am I doing kid? Suppose you think it’s about time <? ks> I know one V-mail isn’t much but then you get me and I can’t get any from you, not yet anyhow.
Guess I told you I crossed the channel a week ago. Today on a <? living> boat and it was all <? living> even down to the <? tea> and beans breakfast. The channel was very smooth and we landed in La Harvre. That place was really a mass of destruction. What we didn’t destroy by bombs the Germans did before they gave up. one more Geo.
