Hello, Darling,

I finally rec’d a letter from you after a 10-day lapse.  I was so relieved to
hear from you.  It was dated Jan. 23, and had Ruth Brady’s letter enclosed.  It
was heavily censored, however.  Two 1/2 pages missing.  You ended one page by
saying, "as for Gladys spending so much money, I can’t see it" then, the next
1/2 age was missing -- can’t figure out why, as it must have concerned either
Gladys or my money.  Then you said, "The doctor said my stomach trouble is not
caused by -- ", and then the rest of the page is gone.

Ronnie was so excited when we got your letter today and said, "What does Daddy
say now, Mommie?"  It’s snowing again and has been all last night and all day so
far.  Guess this snow never lets up.  We’ve had a continued blanket of snow and
ice since Dec. 1st.  Imagine?  From what you say you’re getting the same, too,
now.  I just finished scrubbing and waxing kitchen and bathroom floors.  This
afternoon I’m cleaning the basement.  Envy me?  I have all my fingers crossed
honey.
