Hello again,

Well, got beat again at ping-pong, so gave up and watched the last half of
a softball game.  Then back here to the day room and have written a letter
to Claude and another to you now.  After this it should be dark enough for
the show to start, maybe, and that will take me up to about 10:30 p.m. and
bedtime.  Sounds very exciting, doesn’t it?  It might be very good, except
for the fact that that is all there is to do and it’s the same over and over
again, and we can’t get up and pull out, should we feel like it.  Prison must
be awful.

Did see a very good GI stage show last night about the best yet.  Good music,
singing, and all-around entertainment.  Three or four days ago volunteered
with three other fellows for care taking the baseball diamond.  Not a bad job
and makes the time go faster besides getting me out in the fresh air.
Something I wasn’t getting back at the last place.  My conditions showed it
too.  How is my little Ronnie today?  You too, mommy.
