Page 2 Darling,
Since I wrote the last letter at noon, I cleaned the basement, and am I glad that is over. Marge called this afternoon and said she’d be out to see me tonight, as Murray was working at A.J. Smith’s on Wed. evenings and would pick her up later. She was coming from work, so I asked her to come for supper, and she did. We had calves’ liver and onions, french fries, buttered fresh peas, hot rolls and jelly, and fruit jello, cake and coffee. She sewed for a while until Murray came at 8:00. They left at 9:00, as Murray must have his rest. Marge weighs about 10 more lbs. in the time since you left, so Murray keeps telling her she’s too "hippie." I think it’s becoming myself. I wish I could gain a lb. or two. Murray got a letter from you dated Jan. 17th today. He says he’s written 3 or 4 letters to your hospital address, but you evidently haven’t rec’d them as yet. Did you get the income tax blanks I sent? If so, sign and return so you can get a refund.
Did I ever tell you I love you? I do. Good night, Mom and Ronnie.
