Thought I would have a lot more to say today, but looks like I ran out last
nite as I can’t think of anything to say now.  Now if I could get about a dozen
or so more up-to-date letters it might be different.  If I do though think I
will save it all for the next letter as this one should be long enough.
Besides, there are still about a dozen other people’s letters I should answer.

From what I’ve been seeing the last few days I’m kinda glad I didn’t get to go
home when I was injured.  We are getting men by the hundreds through here every
day now.  Fresh from the states.  They have been in combat and injured in the
S. Pacific, Italy, Africa and many other places <? were> have just long enough
to get

fixed up and even though they are L.A.[,] they have been sent back over here.
Probably for [the] Army of occupation or something.  I’d  hate like hell to be
sent home now just to stay a few weeks and then be sent to the S. Pacific.
Personally I think it’s a rotten deal for those boys.  They think so too.

Well that’s definitely enough griping for one time.  I wish you both a happy
Easter and Ronnie don’t let those Easter bunnies get away from you.
