Hello again,

Still trying to write under very trying circumstances. And at this late hour
this tent is a regular traffic stop. I’ve been interrupted more times since
trying to write this letter than there is [are] words in the letter. There is
no wonder I’m having such a hard time concentrating on something to write about.
Guess as long as you learn that I am still kicking that I’m not too bad off -
which is true. I know things have been much worse.
I hope that someday, soon now, I will find the time to go over all your letters
leisurely and be able to answer them in more detail. Right now I’m thinking I
am lucky getting off a V-mail to you almost every day. I certainly hope you
receive them regularly in <? tiroals> and you are keeping up the good work of
writing me even though I do get <? Aew> in doses of fifty at a time. How’s my
little Ronnie tonight and all his trains? Don’t break them all up <? Ron>
because Daddy wants to come home and play with them with you.

Love Daddy
