Hello honey,

Here’s that wife again!  Aren’t you tired of hearing from me?  Seems I don’t
have much of interest to write about, but guess any kind of letter is better
than none at all, isn’t it?  I spent the afternoon and until 7:30 at night at
Jim and Martha’s home.  Ronnie and the gals had one grand time.  Tommy and
Ronnie wrecked things and poor Tosti (the 5 yr old) is beginning to learn to
value the toys etc., and has an awful time trying to make them mind her.
Ronnie got spunky today and screamed and jumped up and down with rage, but he
came out of it when we put him in the nursery by himself.  When he quieted down
he promised to be good and played nicely from then on.

We had noodles with tuna fish, green beans, tomatoes, cake and plums for dinner
tonight.  I’m not fond of either noodles or fish, so you can imagine how little
I ate and I can’t have tomatoes at all.

Martha may go to work as dietician at Harvey Hospital 3 or 4 days a week and
she asked if I’d like to care for the two girls, from 6:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
those days.  I’m afraid I’ll be a wreck in a week, but then again it’s a way of
getting a little money.  I wouldn’t know how much to charge however.  Think I
should do it?
