Darling,

Received a V-mail today dated April 23rd with your new address.  I hope you
stick around long enough to get this.  I haven’t sent a V-mail for ages.  So
here ’tis.  I sewed and hung and pressed my new living room curtains today and
they look very nice, I’ve been told.  You mentioned a money order for my
Mother’s Day present.  Gee, I’ll sure be tempted to spend it on myself, but
guess I’ll need it for more practical things.  I would like a dress and a pair
of shoes or do you think that would be extravagant?  I really should use it
for the Sept. tax bill ($102.00), but perhaps you’ll be home by then.  (I can
dream can’t I?)  I did decide on a pair of shoes in the loop yesterday and
when I gave him my #4 shoe coupon, I found it wasn’t good until August 1st
and I’ll need both my #3 coupons for Ronnie’s shoes already.  Consequently
unless someone donates a coupon, I can’t buy shoes anyway.  Oh me!  No meat,
no shoes, no love, no nothing.
